Manny Buelna - REALTOR®
Greetings - My name is Manny and I am originally from Tucson, Arizona. I was born into this industry at a young age as my dad was a custom home builder. I held the position of “Chief Laborer” since I could walk. It nurtured a hard work ethic and expanded my construction knowledge which is very helpful in my real estate career.
Shortly after high school, I joined the United States Air Force. As a veteran and servant leader I enjoyed a career in the intelligence field for 10 years, discovering my passion for flight soon after joining. While managing work and deployments, I found time to complete my Bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in addition to taking flight lessons to become a private pilot. I am goal oriented and at the top of that list was to become an Air Force Pilot. I made it happen even after countless setbacks and earned a spot at Officer Training School, followed by the most difficult two years learning to fly high performance jets and earning my “wings.” The reward was a dream come true with an assignment to fly the C-17 to Anchorage Alaska, moving people and cargo to all edges of the Earth. The last 12 years of my officer career I also specialized in high-altitude drone operations and flight safety investigations.
After countless birthdays and anniversaries missed while on deployments and missions to the Middle East and Europe, my family and I decided to retire after nearly 22 years of service. Having finished my career assigned to Joint Base Charleston, Becki and I and the boys, Jett and Christian, finally decided to settle in the Charleston area and call it our home.
My entire military career I have focused on service and empathy for those around me and under my command to help them achieve their best life. Now as a veteran, I will continue to serve those that continue to defend our Country and Principles, and to extend that level of commitment to the community who supports us.
